You’d think that winter time would mean no more acne outbreaks or pimples.  After all, the stifling humidity of the summer is a thing of the past, and even Indian summer is finally winding down in most parts of the country.  But unless you suffer only from seasonal acne, then you’re still going to have to contend with breakouts.  Adult acne doesn’t necessarily adhere to the seasons, and of course hormonal acne pops up at least once a month.

I tend to suffer more from the latter, though admittedly it’s sometimes more severe than others, and I am amazing lucky in that it seems to be getting better as I get older.  Still, inevitably, I always seem to get an outbreak at the worst possible time.  So, I am on a crusade to find a good skin care system.  We’ve all seen the late night infomercials and celebrity poptart endorsements for some of the most common names, but I find myself drawn more to Acne Complex.  It covers all the bases, from cleanser to exfoliating agent to moisturizer.  Plus, I’m naturally suspicious of all-for-one products.  That there are three separate ones that do three separate things really impresses me.

I know one thing: the stuff that took care of these problems when I was but a humble teenager sure aren’t working now.
